Shalimar Restaurant
Originally opened in Greenwood neighborhood in 1982.
1988
Shalimar Restaurant
Opened a location on University Way in the University District
2000
Burger Hut
Chef Wasif opened Burger Hut on University way on January 1st, 2000 as a halal fast food restaurant serving the hungry intellectuals studying on the Ave.

Shalimar's Upgraded Location
Here Shalimar expanded to the largest location three doors away from the first location.
2006
Malabar Restaurant
Chef Wasif opened a South Indian restaurant
2007
Gran Sabor
Chef Wasif opened a Halal Mexican-inspired restaurant
2009
Shalimar Bellevue
Shalimar opened an additional location in the crossroads neighborhood of Bellevue, WA
2017
Leaving the U-District
In November, Shalimar closed the restaurant location, and moved to serve clients via catering.
2020
Shalimar Kitchen
Shalimar moved into a commercial kitchen in Redmond - located right behind the MAPS Mosque
